Glass in the expanded field (2012)

Glass in the Expanded Field is a project by Jerome Harrington, developed with staff and students of the Glass department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.  The project employed Rosalind Krauss’s notion of the Expanded Field to propose that the field of glass practice has been affected by a similar expansion and that Krauss’s text and specifically her use of a series of diagrams could be used to visualise and understand the nature of contemporary glass practice.
